Well, okay, maybe not the oddest (anyone remember the martian demon flu from last year?) but it's definitely weird.

I got home from the movie last night and I was okay. I little sore, but I put that down to not exercising for a few days. A little later, out of nowhere, I started feeling like complete crap. My whole body hurt, I was cranky and tired. I took my temperature? 101.2. I can't tell you the last time I had a temp that high.

So I went to bed, woke up this morning and hurt like hell. Had a bit of a sore throat and swollen glands, but nothing else, really, except aching like hell and that damn fever that keeps yoyoing. Called in sick (my boss, the second I said fever, goes, "Hope I don't get it!" to which I replied, "That's why I'm staying here.") Earlier I fell asleep on the couch, woke up drenched because it broke, and by the time I woke up again it was back up to like 99.5.

I give up.
